Depth UI Launcher — Privacy Policy

Overview
Depth UI Launcher ("the app") is a home screen launcher for Android. The app does not require an account, and we do not sell your personal information.
Most information accessed by the app remains on your device. However, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited app-usage, performance, purchase-event, crash, and diagnostic information. This information is used to improve features, diagnose technical problems, and maintain app reliability.
What the app accesses and why
Installed applications
The app reads the list of apps installed on your device to populate the app picker and home screen grids. This list is used locally by the app and is not transmitted off your device by Depth UI Launcher.
Analytics
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage and improve the user experience.
Analytics information may include:
App launches and general navigation activity
Launcher configuration and layout mode
Whether Depth UI is set as the default launcher
General feature usage and customization actions
Widget placement and configuration results
Backup and restore results
Purchase-flow events
App version
Device model and operating-system version
General performance-duration ranges
An app-specific installation identifier
Our custom analytics events use generalized categories, Boolean values, and duration ranges instead of user-created content or precise raw values.
We do not intentionally include search text, installed-app names, application package names, filenames, file paths, image contents, notification contents, purchase tokens, or order IDs in custom analytics events.
Crash reports and diagnostics
The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect information when the app crashes, becomes unresponsive, or encounters certain technical failures.
Crash and diagnostic information may include:
Crash stack traces
Nonfatal error reports
Application not responding reports
App version
Device model
Operating system version
Relevant application state
Generalized configuration values
Diagnostic breadcrumbs
An app-specific installation identifier
This information is used to investigate crashes, fix defects, monitor stability, and improve app reliability. It is not used by Depth Arc Interactive for advertising or to identify users by name.
Notification access (Pro feature)
If you grant notification access, the app can display badge indicators on app icons showing how many unread notifications exist for that app. The app reads only the notification count and the package name of the originating app — it does not read, store, or transmit notification titles, message content, or sender information. You can revoke notification access at any time in your device's notification access settings.
Context Triggers (Pro feature)
If you configure context triggers, the app monitors whether your device is connected to Wi-Fi to automatically switch home screen layers. This information is used locally and never transmitted.
Background images
If you set a custom background image, you select the image using Android's built-in file picker. The app copies your chosen image into its private storage on your device. This image is never transmitted off your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing your background selection in the app.
Uninstall requests
The app can initiate an uninstall request for apps via Android's standard system dialog. The actual uninstall is handled entirely by the Android system.
In-app purchases
Depth UI Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment-card information.
The app receives purchase and entitlement information from Google Play so it can activate or restore Pro features. We may record limited purchase-related analytics, including whether a purchase was started, completed, canceled, restored, or activated.
Purchase analytics may include product type, currency, purchase value supplied by Google Play, activation source, and a generalized result category.
We do not intentionally transmit purchase tokens, order numbers, payment-card details, or raw Google Play Billing diagnostic messages to Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

We do not intentionally collect or transmit the following through our custom analytics or diagnostic telemetry:
Names, email addresses, or Depth UI account information
Contacts
Messages or notification contents
Camera or microphone recordings
Precise location data
Browsing history
Search text entered in the launcher
Contents of selected background images
Payment card details
Google Play purchase tokens or order numbers
Device identifiers for advertising purposes
Installed app names or package names through our custom telemetry
Firebase may automatically process app installation identifiers, device metadata, app interactions, crash information, and related technical data as described in this policy.
Data storage
App settings, launcher layouts, selected backgrounds, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
Analytics, crash, diagnostic, performance, app installation identifier, and purchase event information is transmitted to and processed by Google Firebase. We do not operate a separate server that stores your launcher layouts, installed app list, selected images, notification contents, or purchase credentials.
Analytics and diagnostic information may be retained according to the retention settings and policies of Firebase and Google Analytics.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
We use Google Firebase as our analytics and diagnostic service provider. Limited analytics, crash, diagnostic, performance, app installation identifier, and purchase event information may be transmitted to Google through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to provide app usage measurement, crash reporting, reliability monitoring, and product improvement insights.
The app also communicates with Google Play for purchase verification, entitlement management, and billing related functions. We do not receive or store your payment card information, purchase tokens, or Google Play order numbers.
Your choices
You can uninstall the app at any time. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes local settings stored by the app.
You can revoke notification access at any time in your device's notification access settings.
You can manage some device-level privacy and identifier settings through Android and Google settings on your device.

Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
